Cleaning Amy’s Gutters!

Finding Amy was a mission. This week I had went up and down about 8 streets trying to find not only a good candidate for Free Friday, but someone will to accept the free work.

I noticed while driving the gutters to Amy’s house were completely full, to the point where I could see them from the street! So I immediately pulled over and decided to knock on her do.

The smile that greeted me caught me completely off guard. I have gotten used to people being standoffish and even rude when just approaching their door. But Amy said “good morning” and was very warm straight away.

From that interaction alone, I wanted to help her. I pointed out that the gutters needed to be cleaned, although she was already aware, and she accepted my offer to clean them. She was extremely grateful and now has gutters that are flowing water away from the home properly!
